Toby Imada Wins MMA Submission of the Year!

Last Sunday we were eating some mean shrimp that Toby cooked up at our friend Reyn’s BBQ.  Three days later he cooked up a win at the World MMA Awards for “Submission of the Year”.  We’re super stoked for him, so here’s to Toby and his win-  Congratulations Toby!  For those of you that haven’t seen his amazing submission, check it out below.  For those of you, like me, who have seen it 20 times, watch it again.  It gets more amazing every time!

(We met Toby at a get together earlier in 2009.  Toby has a super interesting ethnic and cultural background.  He is Japanese and Mexican, spent time growing up in LA and Mexico, and has spent lots of time in Hawaii as well.  Toby is definitely a Hawaii Lover, and an ambassador of  Aloha.  We’re gonna see if Toby has time for an interview soon, so stay posted.)
