Hawaii kids (and a couple Chamorro girls) that make up Chapman University's Hawaii Club, Pua'ikeana.

We’re just a bunch of “Hawaii Lovers” like you, that live on the mainland.  Some of us born and raised in the H-I, some of us have family connects in Hawaii, and some of us are as haole as can be.  Regardless, there’s a ton of us “Hawaii Lovers” that live everywhere but Hawaii, and we need to help each other stay connected.  It’s not easy
to find poi, Portuguese sausage, furikake or ukuleles on the mainland, so us (self-titled) experts are gonna keep you in the loop.  We might not have the trade winds, warm water, and 80 degree year round weather, but we can’t
let that stop the shakas from shakin.  Cheehoo!

Disclaimer:  Give us a break, yeah?  We are presenting you with things that help keep the local connection, but not everything will be “authentically” Hawaiian.  (Hello?  We’re not in Hawaii)  We figure we would just try to list the places that we like to go, and bring you with us……kind of.
