Falcon Electrical offers a wide range of specialist services, including electrical maintenance, custom-built process control applications and computerized control systems, industrial automation, switchboard and control-centre design and manufacture, industrial installation and service, and alternative energy and energy efficient solutions. We are agents for a number of commercial products, and perform sales, installation and ongoing maintenance for these.

Falcon Electrical has been owned and operated locally in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand, since 1976. We are members of the NZ Contractors Association, and are Master Electricians and Eco Smart-accredited in energy efficiency and alternative energy.

Falcon Electrical offers a range of commercial and industrial services, including small and large-scale installation, maintenance and servicing, lighting design, installation and maintenance, comprehensive workshop and electronics facilities, cable location services using in-house equipment, appliance and portable tool testing and certification, EWRB-registered electrical inspectors, EWRB-registered electricians, OS1010-approved Unison Networks, and electronics technicians.

High-voltage design, protection, installation and inspection

We provide sub-station design, high-voltage protection, distribution and reticulation installation, HV inspection and reporting. These high-voltage services are carried out by 11kV-certified electrical staff.

Electronic security systems

We offer automatic door systems, covert surveillance, digital surveillance system design and installation, and inner range (certified) Paradox, Tecom and Bosch Security access control systems.

IP networking system design, installation and servicing

Falcon Electrical provides IP networking installation and servicing, copper and fibre structured networking, PC and communication systems design and installation, and specialist IT technicians.

Alternative energy systems

At Falcon Electrical we are able to offer you a range of alternative energy options, which include being on-grid through your normal power network, off-grid using our renewable energy options, or a combination that utilises the benefits of renewable energy while you are still connected to the grid.

By using your personal data and our mobile weather station, we can design and install a system individually for you, utilising solar, wind and hydro options as required. We can also use these resources to provide power in those hard-to-reach places such as remote access gates and out buildings and woolsheds. Our technicians use computer-aided design tools.

Energy efficiency systems

Falcon Electrical offers many options to help make your home or business more energy efficient. This can be achieved through lighting design / re-design, smarter heating and cooling systems, and heat recovery and air circulation systems.

Falcon Electrical has been involved with switchboard engineering, design and manufacturing for over 30 years. We have a standard range of switchboard components, developed through industrial demand, reliability and price competitiveness. We offer the following products:

Stretch wrapping machines

Falcon Electrical is the sole distributor of Phoenix stretch wrapping machines in Australasia, for Phoenix Innotech. Phoenix’s machines are known as world leaders in stretch wrapping technology, proven by their patented pre-stretch system, which delivers the highest film efficiency in the world.

We can offer a range of fully and semi-automated machines, and also provide a support and maintenance service for all machines. We can provide a wide range of five-layer cast films both for machines and hand applications.
